The Aerti AE-10 is a 10 litre continuous-flow oxygen concentrator with a built-in nebuliser, built for high-flow oxygen therapy and rated for continuous 24-hour operation. Do I need 10 litres or will 5 be enough?
Go by the flow rate on your prescription. Most home oxygen prescriptions sit at or below 5 LPM, which a 5 litre machine covers. Choose 10 litres if you are prescribed above 5 LPM or need to run two outlets.

Can two people share one machine?
A 10 litre unit can feed two outlets through a splitter, provided the combined prescribed flow stays within 10 LPM. Confirm the arrangement with the treating doctor first.

How much electricity does it use?
High-flow concentrators draw noticeably more power than 5 litre units and are designed to run continuously. Ask us for the current figure for this model before you budget for it.

What maintenance does it need?
Rinse and dry the external filter regularly and have the unit serviced at the interval shown on the display. Oxymed services and repairs concentrators in-house.

Do I need a prescription?
Supplemental oxygen should be used at the flow rate prescribed by your doctor. Speak to your treating doctor or pulmonologist before starting or changing oxygen therapy.
